Meet Our Team

  • Gil Garza LMSW, LCDC, BCN-L

    Founder & Clinical Director

Gil is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), and Board-Certified Neurofeedback Clinician (BCN) through the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA). He specializes in trauma-informed mental health care, QEEG brain mapping, neurofeedback therapy, and behavioral interventions for adolescents and adults.

Gil brings extensive experience working in inpatient and intensive outpatient (IOP) dual-diagnosis treatment settings, helping individuals navigate substance use disorders, trauma, mood disorders, and complex behavioral challenges. His clinical background in addiction treatment informs a holistic approach to care that addresses both brain function and behavioral health, supporting sustainable recovery and improved cognitive performance.

He works with individuals experiencing ADHD, learning disorders, developmental delays, autism spectrum conditions, trauma-related symptoms, and executive functioning difficulties. By integrating evidence-based behavioral therapy, neurofeedback training, and trauma-focused approaches, Gil helps clients improve attention, emotional regulation, impulse control, and cognitive clarity.

Gil is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based trauma therapy that helps individuals process distressing experiences and reduce the long-term effects of traumatic stress.

First introduced to EEG-biofeedback while working in a dual-diagnosis rehabilitation facility, Gil became deeply interested in the role brain-based interventions can play in mental health and recovery. Today, he uses quantitative EEG (QEEG) brain mapping to assess brainwave patterns and develop personalized neurofeedback protocols, helping clients better understand and regulate their brain activity.

Gil’s clinical philosophy centers on trauma-informed care, comprehensive case-management, and whole-person wellness. Through the integration modalities he helps clients build resilience, improve brain health, and achieve lasting change.
